So this topic has been covered everywhere, multiple times, but I want to cover it because I've known about this for a long time and it's very interesting to me. Let's start with a brief history of Cabbage Patch Kids in general, so if you don't know by now, Cabbage Patch Kids were a doll line very popular in the 80s and are still around today. In 1996, the Cabbage Patch Snacktime Kids was released and were exceedingly popular. They were especially popular around Christmas of 96'. The doll's gimmick was that it "ate" the food that was made of plastic and when you would look into its backpack, the "food" would then re-appear. The doll would seemingly "chew" the plastic snacks as you put them in its mouth, with "a pair of one-way smooth metal rollers behind plastic lips". To disable you would release the backpack. However there was no on/off switch to this doll. There were many reports of children getting there hair or fingers stuck in the doll. Most of the reports I've seen was of little girls getting their hair stuck in the doll, one girl was even left with a bald spot, another's aunt had to unscrew and dismantle the doll. Eventually, in January 1997, the line was voluntarily withrew from stores and customers of the doll recieved a refund, if returned.

So this was the first ever mini blog, let me know what you think. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was dealing with personal problems, I should be back to a somewhat regular schedule.
